A welcoming church where the people of Wareham have worshipped for centuries.

Beautiful historic Anglican church in the Saxon town of Wareham.

Very interesting church dating from the 11th century and in the Saxon style. Examples of early wall decoration are visible and there is a monumental tomb of Lawrence of Arabia within the building, although he is actually buried several miles away at Clouds Hill. This church is not regularly used and is often locked. The key is obtainable from Joy's menswear shop just a few yards down the road.

This amazing Saxon church holds the sculptor of T.E. Lawrence by Eric Kennington. Lawrence, while living at Clouds Hill, would come to Wareham on his motorbike and frequent a nearby cafe. The small church, just inside the old walls of the town, still has services and is worthy of a visit for its simple architecture as much as to see the amazing sculpture. Opening times are variable and, when closed, the visitor is directed to a nearby shop to request the key.

Very efficient, reasonably priced service. Particular praise to the skilled driver who managed to get our skip in a very tight space on our driveway. You’d never even know they had been. Will definitely be using them again and can highly recommend.

What a great restaurant! All the standard options but lots of dishes I have never seen before. All excellently cooked and presented. It felt high end, but the prices are very reasonable. They even have great deserts which is unusual for an Asia restaurant. Service was faultless. I am looking forward to going back soon!

What a treat! The food is first class but the atmosphere of the old Priory is so warm and relaxing yet steeped in history! The gardens are magical and locks you into the the beauty of established rose garden and rare plants. The River Frome glides by wrapping up this well run Hotel.
