Owermoigne FC, who play in Division 4 of the Dorset Football League are always on the lookout for experienced, committed and reliable players in all positions to join our friendly, and ambitious team and as such we always welcome NEW players to come along for a trial.
We already have a promising football team, but want to assemble a squad of players who can realistically challenge for promotion and honours

TRAINING:
During the seaon we train every Monday eveningfrom 8:00 p.m. on the 3G Astroturf at the Thomas Hardye Leisure Centre, Coburg Road, Dorchester until the end of March.

ASSISTANT COACH NEEDED FOR PROMISING ADULT FOOTBALL TEAM!
Owermoigne FC, has aspirations to rise through the leagues and play at the highest level possible,and we are currently looking for an Assistant Team
Coach* to provide help and support to the Team Manager in developing our squad of players into a team capable of challenging for honours in the coming season.
Duties will include assisting the Team Manager on match days (Saturday
afternoons) and to help run and organise weekly coaching sessions, (Monday evenings).
*Please note that this position is a voluntary role, not a paid position.

Children's activities & family events

Army Welfare Service Community Development Workers are responsible for organising events for families and fun activities for children. A variety of activities and days out are arranged through AWS  during half-term and school summer holidays. Trips to Monkey World, Paultons Park, Snowtrax and Thorpe Park are typical examples of activities. An annual summer camp takes place every year, providing a week of supervised fun activites for children aged 8 -12. BOVINGTON HIVE HAS UP TO DATE PROGRAMMES OF ALL AWS ACTIVITIES AND BOOKING FORMS. The Saddle Club in Bovington is for all members of the RAC Centre and their dependents.It's facilities are also for students attending courses at the RAC Centre. the Stables are by the Tank Museum and there is an excellent indoor riding School and an outdoor menage. There are 29 loose boxes and 5 pony stalls.The stables has a number of horses and ponies for hire at reasonable prices and riding lessons are avaliable from the BHS Qualified staff at the Centre. Surestart for families (Bovington & Wool)

Surestart Childrens centre in Wool & Bovington provides play provision,day care and integrated services for children under 4. There is a modern activity centre and large well equipped classroom lcoated within the Garrison.
