Loved it. Three of us enjoyed a cooked breakfast with lovely coffee by the traditional wood fire in February. The building has authentic wood beamed ceilings. It's a fitting establishment in the little Saxon town that the the of us fell in love with because of the history, river and great shops, especially the hardware shop, what a find, like Aladdin's cave.

We have visited several times over many years. The last couple times found that the service was very slow. We had a coffee each but my cappuccino was in a standard shape cup & my husband's filter coffee was in a wide cup which is usually used for a cappachino. Also I expected them to be served together not a while after each other. On the plus side the young lady & young man serving were really pleasant & smiley & the coffee was good.

Been here a few times and the coffee is excellent. I can also recommend the bacon sandwiches, they are fantastic. It's located near one of the town's car parks so not far to walk. There is plenty of seating and the staff are really friendly. Great place for a coffee and a bite.

Lovely selection of fresh fish and local meats. The cafe serves great home made dishes and the cakes are on point.

BigBarn has a totally brilliant map for Dorset showing all the local food producers. So if you want to know where your food comes from look no further!
