Nature Travels arranged a week on a cross country ski touring in East Karelia, plus a couple of additional days before hand. The administration was smooth and efficient, advice and guidance was provided promptly, and the staff were very friendly. The trip in Finland took us from Guest House to Guest House with our luggage transported for us, staying at each Guest House for one days local skiing. The routes were prepared for us by snowmobile, across lakes, though woods and across fields (snow covered). Days varied from 11 to 27 kilometres. We are in our late 60s and although the long days were tiring, they were well within our capabilities. All Guest Houses featured locally sourced traditional Finnish dishes lovingly prepared and explained by each proprietress, and each also offered something different - local singing, feeding reindeer, or smoke sauna with (optional) ice cold immersion. The accommodation was simple but adequate in traditional houses. Overall, a very enjoyable and satisfying holiday . .

Two friends and I went dog sledding in Northern Sweden with Nature Travels and had an absolutely amazing time. The advice and support from Nature Travels throughout the booking process, right up to the trip was excellent. They are always prompt with replies and more than happy to help and assist with anything we might need. We used Nature Travels two years ago for a self guided sea kayak trip near Gothenburg, and that experience was perfect as well. There are many reasons I'd highly recommend Nature Travels to anyone looking for an experience or adventure style holiday, but one of the top reasons is that they take great care to find the best local hosts. They clearly spend a lot of time ensuring that they have top quality local hosts who are very environmentally conscious, and building excellent relationships with them. I think this is probably a crucial but underrated part of what makes holidays with Nature Travels so excellent. I have no doubt that we'll be using them again before long!

Known Bob and Sue for a few years and cannot fault them on anything. Always helpful and cheerful, I don't know what I would have done without them on my doorstep! I would recommend them for all disability items!

My parents visited Sandford recently and forgot to take the charger for my Fathers mobility scooter. They were recommended to call in and see if the owners could help. They lent them a charger for the week, and did not ask for any payment. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely two ladies that helped them out. We stayed for 3 nights and were warmly welcomed by the warden. The site was clean and tidy,as were all the facilities. We found plenty to do in the local area and thoroughly enjoyed walking through Wareham Forest. We found the Hillfort,walked to Wareham (a lovely traditional town) and enjoyed a delicious meal at The Silent Woman pub just down the road (although we found it safer to walk through the forest) We look forward to many return visits x
