Springfield Country Hotel Leisure Club & Spa

Grange Rd, Wareham BH20 5AL, UK – 01929 552177

Love visiting this hotel, staff are lovely, the rooms very nice (no a/c) food ok. I visit the king's head down the road more for the change of scenery, however, the food is nice there also.

Lovely Hotel with lovely gardens and leisure facilities. Sadly the outside pool is still not in use and has been like this for the last 3 weeks. Still like this, as of 12th July 2017.

Kemps Country House

East Stoke, Wareham BH20 6AL, UK – 0845 862 0315

Pleasant b&b located close to Monkey World, Wareham and Lulworth Cove. Our family room was large, easily accommodating our travel cot and an extra single bed. The decor was dated but clean. The full English breakfast was ok, but not a huge selection.

Bit overpriced but clean hotel close to major tourist attractions like Monkeyworld and Durdle Door. Breakfast is nice but selection a little limited.

Friendly and helpful staff, reasonably priced, clean and a nice breakfast too. Lovely location would recommend to anyone looking for a budget stay. Thank you.

Pubs, Gastro Pubs and Bars

The Old Granary

The Quay, Wareham BH20 4LP, UK – 01929 552010

Great food and fantastic quayside location!! It would be hard to find a better location than this ancient quay that now offers boat hire or tours from it. Sit upstairs on the outside balcony on a lovely warm day and it's heaven.

Lovely setting next to the river. Best to book in advance. Child friendly with a children's menu and children's cutlery. Our burgers were delicious as was the lemon tart.

The Sandford

Wareham Road, Sandford BH20 7AE, UK – 01929 550800

Enjoyed a Lovely meal at the Sandford. The to.e made onion rings were delicious ( I don't normally like onion rings) very generous portions at a reasonable price. 5* service from our waitress Naomi

Best carvery you'll have! Always visit on a Sunday whilst visiting my Nan. Friendly local, good food and drinks selection :)

Travel Super Market search and compare prices for hotels all over the world. Could also be useful for you. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!
